ALERT OC: Mass Notification System for Orange County Residents

Alert OC is a mass notification system designed to keep Orange County residents and businesses informed of emergencies. This system is utilized by the Police and Fire Department for time-sensitive alerts. They are able to pinpoint exact structures that may be affected and get a notice to you at once! With so many of us moving away from landline and living in a mobile society, this system is designed to give alerts where we live and work. If you are a caregiver to someone residing at a different address, you are encouraged to sign up at that address so you may be their helping hand. This will give you any notices you may need relevant to that geography. The notice may be sent to your home, cell or business phone. Text messages may also be sent to cell phones, e-mail accounts and hearing impaired receiving devices. AlertOC is a joint County/City program and they will not share your information or spam you. However, they do test the system each year.
